Munus Laetitiae: Festschrift for Maria Letizia Lazzarini

Prof. Maria Letizia Lazzarini, the grande dame of Greek epigraphy, known especially for her work on Archaic inscriptions and the epigraphy of the Greek colonies in southern Italy, and one of the longest collaborators of SEG, has taught Greek epigraphy for more than twenty years at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. Students, colleagues, and friends are delighted to offer her a Festschrift on the occasion of her recent retirement from teaching. The two-volume Festschrift includes contributions on numerous topics (new documents, institutional aspects, society and economy, cults, onomastics, etc.) by almost fifty scholars. It will be officially presented to the public in Rome at the University “La Sapienza” on June 11, 2018, in the presence of the honorand.
